Rudolph N. “Rudy” Hatala, on October 14, 2012, of Washington Twp. Age 56. Beloved husband of Theresa M. nee Bergmark. Devoted father of Rudolph N., Jr. Sarah and Andrew J. Hatala. Loving grandfather of Jaxon. Dear brother of Thomas J. Hatala.
To a man who’s life has been taken to serve a greater purpose. If we would have known this was the last goodbye we would have said more. If we would have known this was the last I love you, we would have held you longer. If we would have known this was the last moment, we would have never let you go. You are and always will be the best husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and coach. You will never realize how many lives you have touched, changed, and made better by your mere presence. Today the world is saying goodbye to Rudolph N. Hatala, Sr. who is everything to everyone. He had no needs, no wants, nothing more then to take care of his family and friends. Each waking day you tried to find the best in each moment. We will miss your smile, your heart, your laugh. Our hearts will grow heavier each day knowing you will not be by our side. You made this world a better place, just in knowing you. We hope you understand that this is not goodbye, rather I’ll see you later. We will miss you deeply. We will think of you often and hope to see you soon. Love always and forever, your family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday 8:15-10:15 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am at the Church of the Holy Family, Washington Twp. Interment Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rudy’s memory may be made to the Jefferson Heart Institute, c/o Jefferson Foundation, Attn: Sarah Staley, 925 Chestnut Street, Suite 110, Philadelphia, PA 19107.

I've been blessed to have met a family that loves and enjoys life as the Hatala's... I've met them over 30 yrs ago and knew then what a great Son, Brother, Husband, Father and grandpop he would be.. Time had past since we last seen each other but when I seen them again it was great to see that love could stand the test of time... Tommy no words can be expressed <3... but know you have 3 beautiful Angels in heaven, family and friends here on earth to be here for you... even though you feel alone, pls know that you are not...ever.

Please accept our deepest sympathy in the passing of Rudy. He was a such a great coach for our sons. His enthusiasm and love of sports were some of our fondest memories. He will surely be missed!!!
