On May 31, 2010, of Washington Twp. Age 28. Beloved son of Roy D., Jr. and Michele nee Allen. Dear brother of Robert. Devoted grandson of Michael and Geraldine Allen and Linda and the late Roy Marz. Dear nephew of Michael and Darlene Allen, Patrick and Michele Allen and Linda and Steve Hoffman. Also survived by loving cousins Linda, Michael, Amy, Melissa, Michael, Sean and Casey.

Roy was a 2000 graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School, where he lettered in football and track.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at St. Mary’s RC Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester. Mass of Christian Burial 1:15 pm at the church. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.

Roy is a big part of my fondest childhood memories. Swimming at Bells Lake, playing in the woods, and spinning on the tire swing. I hold those memories close to my heart and pray for his family.

I have many fond memories of Roy playing with my children when they were little. Summers were the best at Bell's Lake! Roy lit up the room when he walked in and was full of fun, energy, and a wonderful imagination. We miss you.

Roy was a vivacious, giving guy with a great sense of humor. I always will remember him having fun enjoying family and friends at the Mitcham's annual Christmas party. God Bless Roy and his family.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Roy was a great friend and man i didnt know him for all that long.. I was stayin with my frind who happens to live in the yellow house almost directly in front of the family house where Roy would always be out in the garage and mowing the lawn.. that is how me and Roy met and got to be friends.. He was always happy and he always had a way to make me laugh.. i didnt find out about this till a few days ago He will be missed... RIP Roy... Miss You

I am so sorry for the loss of your son. I heard about Roy's passing too later to attend the viewing. Roy was such a good guy and always fun to be around. I went to school with him since we were in Birches together. He will hold a speical place in my heart. My deepest sorrows go out to your family.
