Rosemary C. Bowen nee Hildebrand, on January 2, 2012, of Blackwood, NJ. Age 85.

Beloved wife of the late James L. Loving daughter of the late William and Loretta Hildebrand. Devoted mother of James Lynda, Karen Tom, Thomas Bonnie, and Kathy Sandy. Loving grandmother of Heather, James, Suzanne, Joseph, Paul, Mathew, Erin and Sean. Proud great-grandmother of Heather, Emily, Xander, Sophie, and Gavin and Clarissa. Dear sister of the late Ida Mae, Shirley, Pat and Billy.

In addition to living a full life as a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Rosemary took great pleasure in her activities as a member of the 3H Senior Club and volunteer work at St. John of God.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend her viewing Thursday evening 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Friday morning 9:15 to 10:15 am at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp.

Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Blackwood.

Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.

Donations may be made in Rosemary’s memory to St. John of God, 1145 Delsea Drive, Westville Grove, NJ 08093.

Dear Bowen Family, I just learned of your mother's passing. Your mom and mine were such great friends. We always visited when my mom would return to Blackwood from FL. Your mom was a special lady. My condolences to all of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

We remember meeting Rosemary several times with Jim and Lynda. She was very charming without pretense. She made us feel like friends immediately. You are so fortunate to have her as your mother. Grieving with you, Terry and Chris

She was the perfect grandmother -- encouraging, gentle, sweet, patient, selfless and always had a bowl or two of candy around. She had a way of making you feel special. I have so many special memories with her and will remember her often.

A beautiful woman inside and out, Rosemary holds a special place in my heart. Comforting me and my mother in times of need and always welcoming me into her family, she will truly be missed.

We didn't know you and yet felt like we did. A beautiful and loving soul for sure and always ready and willing for some fun. We know this to be true from Kathy and Sandy. It made us smile to hear them telling your stories, which I'm sure will continue making us smile.
