Dear Aunt Rose, Thank you for your laughter! I can still hear you laughing! Whenever I think of you I will smile and laugh out loud. I will miss our telephone calls and sharing funny stories and jokes. Aunt Rose loved a good joke, making herself and others laugh was easy. For Heaven's sake don't stop laughing now! God Bless you, as with Grandma you are in my thoughts and prayers always. "A merry heart does good, like medicine and a cheerful thought works healing..." Prov.17:22 With Love, your Great Niece, Donna Lee

Activities Department of Cardinal Village left a message on May 20, 2010:
Rose was such a spunky lady who enjoyed dancing, especially the Electric Slide. As recently as last month Rose danced her favorite dance at the Spring Prom where she enjoyed herself by dancing and socializing with her Golden Girls. Rose had so many stories that made everyone laugh. Always a Social Butterfly in any situation. Since Rose came to Cardinal Village she participated in a Fashion Show where she modeled 3 outfits. She would be one of the first at parties to get up on the dance floor. Rose would request the Electric Slide! to our amazement for a woman of her young age of 90 moved extremely well on the dancefloor. She enyoyed our Nails and Tails activity but what happened during this activity stayed there as in Vegas!!! Rose is in Vegas laughing it up for everybody and doing the Electric Slide. Our lady in pink is sadly miised and loved by all in our hearts and prayers.

I met Rose 23 years ago when we met at Lindenwold Towers. We became friends instantly when we met. She had me over so many nights to have dinner as she enjoyed cooking and sharing her meals. We had many good times there and those times carried over to Cardinal Village where we have both resided since 2009. Here at Cardinal Village we participated in many activities together. Rose, Mary, Betty and myself are the Golden Girls of Cardinal Village. Rose was Sophia and we got such a kick out of her antics. She was always happy and upbeat. She is missed and loved by so many here and we cherish all the times we shared together as friends. Rose was a good storyteller, she could tell you a story and have you laughing till you had tears flowing from your eyes. I love and miss you Rose and you will forever be in my heart and prayers. Rest in Peace my dear friend and may you continue to dance.

Rose and I shared a mutual fondness for some of the same things. We had many laughs together. We were both frustrated line dancers! We did however, manage to get up and join in on a few occasions doing the Electric Slide, one of our favorites. We enjoyed doing many crafts together and socializing with our neighbors. She enjoyed reading books her daughter provided and would read some of the articles aloud to me. The stories were very inspiring. Prayers to her family from her neighbors and friends here at Cardinal Village. I will miss and cherish our times together and these memories will always be in my heart. May God Bless and Rest your soul.
