Rose M. Acocella (nee Nigito), 91, of Wildwood Crest, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022.

Rose was raised in Elizabeth, NJ and started her working career as a teenager on the assembly line at Singer Sewing Machines main plant in Elizabeth, NJ, where she met and married her beloved husband Frank of 67 years. She later worked as a secretary at their successful commercial cleaning supplies and maintenance services company.

Rose, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, enjoyed cooking, knitting, skiing, playing pinnacle, the casinos, boating and crabbing.

Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank and her brother Daniel. She is survived by her sisters Grace of New Albany, Indiana and Nancy of Bayonet, Florida and beloved son Frank and his wife Claudia of Wildwood Crest. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Anthony, Frank III, and Melissa, and great-grandchildren, Ella, Gardner, Avery and Arthur.

Family and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, January 2nd from 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm at Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Turnersville, Washington Twp., NJ. A funeral liturgy will begin at 4:30 pm. Cremation will be private. The entombment ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 7th at 12:00 pm at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Chapel Columbarium, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ 08759.
