Rocco V. Roberto

On October 10, 2020, of Pittsgrove.  Age 89.  Beloved husband of the late Barbara.  Devoted father of Steven and Celeste Berwick (Brian).  Loving grandfather of Stephen (Tracy) and Nicholas.  Also survived by his granddogs Nellie and Savannah.  Dear brother of Phyllis and the late Willie, Frank, close friend and brother-in-law Joseph Petrocella, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.  Also survived by many loving nieces, and nephews.  Cherished son of the late Vincenzo and Catherine Roberto.

Born in Somerdale, NJ in 1931, and raised in Camden, NJ.  “Rocky” was a war here who served in the US Army in the Korean War where he received an Oak Leaf Cluster Purple Heart and was a Prisoner of War.  He spent 40 years working for RCA/GE.  He enjoyed his family, Wildwood NJ, Florida, and fishing.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service on Thursday at 12:30 pm at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 240 Lower Landing Road, Chews Landing.
