Robert W. Moshinsky
On April 18, 2025, of Sewell. Age 90. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Ruczko). Devoted father of Alan Moshinsky (Maria) and Deborah Moshinsky. Loving grandfather of Joseph and Daniel. Dear brother of the late Edward Moshinsky and Dorothy Mollan.
Bob was a graduate of Penn State (B.S. Mechanical Engineering) and Drexel University (MBA). He once had a private pilot’s license and enjoyed flying small planes. He enlisted in the Air Force after high school and was a radio operator at an Air Force Base in Korea. Bob loved spending summers at Lake Garrison with his family, where they’ve had a cottage since 1973, and where he also served on the Board of Directors for many years, some as President.
Bob would frequently be seen performing home improvements or fixing cars, as he was a talented handyman. He loved to enjoy basketball, football, and particularly baseball games, being a big fan of the 76ers, Eagles, and Phillies, and passing on that tradition to his children and grandchildren. A highlight of Bob’s life was spending time with his 2 grandsons, Joseph and Daniel, playing games or tackling brain twisters.
Bob enjoyed keeping abreast of current events, finance, and politics, and when his sight began to fail from glaucoma, he kept active listening to audiobooks and attending book club meetings at the VA. Bob will be dearly missed by all who were close to him.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Thursday, April 24th 9:30 -11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, 176 Stagecoach Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In honor of Robert’s life, in lieu of flowers or other acts of sympathy, we would encourage any donations to the Glaucoma Research Foundation.
