Robert S. McGovern, Sr.
On April 7, 2018 of Sicklerville. Age 62. Devoted father of Robert S. McGovern, Jr. (Kristine) and Blaine M. McGovern (Jaclyn). Beloved son of Louise and the late Robert. Loving grandfather of Julia, Luca, Ava, Grace and Riley. Dear brother of Patricia Keller (David), Thomas (Shirley) and Maryann Krupinski (Robert).
Robert McGovern was a current employee of American Honda Motor Company of Mount Laurel, NJ. He loved to spend time outdoors – hunting, hummingbird watching, and sitting around the campfire at Lake Kandle with family and friends. Robert was a loyal Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed coaching his two sons while they played baseball at Erial Little League. He will always be remembered by his family and friends for being a devoted father, son, uncle, grandfather.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 7:00-9:00 pm and Friday 9:00-10:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 10:00 am. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert’s memory may be made to National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) 901 E Street, NW, Suite 100, Washington, DC 20004-2025. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com
