Robert M. Gaydos, on May 5, 2022, of Washington Twp. Age 87. Beloved husband of 64 years to his high school sweetheart, LaVonne (nee Weaver). Devoted father of David Gaydos, Sharon Pizagno (Herb), Bobby Gaydos, and the late Daniel Gaydos. Loving grandfather of Hunter and Morgan Pizagno, who he was so proud of. Dear brother of Richard Gaydos (Ann), Mary Ann Wentz, and the late Pauline Robe, and Cornell Gaydos. Cherished son of the late Michael and Pauline (nee Kollar) Gaydos.

Robert went to Notre Dame on a football scholarship and graduated in 1958. Robert was with Guardian Adjustment Services for over 30 years as an independent adjuster. He enjoyed helping people.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday 9:30 – 11:00 am at the Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 am.

My prayers to the family. The years passed so quickly. It surely was just yesterday that Mr. Gaydos would rescue me from drinking prune juice as a child. He would show up just at the right time to save me. Always a huge smile and a hard chuckle will be be engraved in my mind. He and my dad working late nights working their side hustle; all to take care of their families in the most protective loving way of a great father.

I am so sorry to lose my very good friend of many years, Bob. If it any consolation, his failing health and vigor are no longer his misery. Only the good thoughts, memories, and times we spent together will linger within me. I miss him.

Oh, LaVonne, my deepest condolences to you and your family. Memories of all the times we encountered Bob practicing his golf shots while walking the golf course after hours. May you be comforted with fond memories of your beloved Bob!

Mr. Gaydos was and always will be one of the greatest men I've ever had the privilege to know. He will be so very missed but never forgotten. Sending love and hugs to you all.
