Robert E. Washkevich

On February 19, 2020 of Washington Twp. Age 74. Beloved husband of Christine (nee Money). Devoted father of Alicia Washkevich  and her husband Kyle. Loving grandfather of Phoebe.

Robert was born in the US to a Polish/Lithuanian family – his grandparents were immigrants. He married his high school sweetheart Christine.  He was on the football team and she was a cheerleader.  Robert went on to study pharmacy at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science (now the University of the Sciences) where he joined the Kappa Psi fraternity, had a lot of fun and made lifelong friends.  He and Christine traveled the world, skiing in the alps and touring China.  Then they had Alicia, and still traveled a bit as she grew up too – skiing out west or going to the Caribbean.  He was always there for her swim meets and glee club concerts. Ultimately Alicia attended the US Naval Academy in Annapolis and he was so proud.  He loved to tease and joke around.  He loved to go hunting and trapshooting; and he loved his family so much!

Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Friday 2:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp.
