The Rev. Dr. Jack R. Van Ens left a message on December 14, 2018:
Serving as Pastor from 1976-1981 at the First Presbyterian Church in Pitman NJ, I benefited from Bob's always thorough work to extend Christ's work and witness. Bob reminded me of a strong plow horse cutting furrows. He kept at tasks. With erudition cradled in humility, Bob touched many lives with what's good, beautiful and worthy. What an impact wife Ginny and Bob made! She so garrulous and funny; he laid-back, blessed with droll wit. Through Bob's service to the church and communtiy, I began to see Christ more clearly.
Elaine Scheetz left a message on December 13, 2018:
It was always a joy and a learning experience to be in Bob's presence whether working with him under the auspices of Habitat For Humanity, in various Church committees including Session where his expertise as Clerk was so very helpful or just seeing him in his Russian fur hat. Even though a very intelligent man and a born leader, Bob was always humble, kind, and an understanding gentleman who will be missed.
John Webb left a message on December 12, 2018:
I truly enjoyed Robert, my oldest brother, the few times I met him. We were separated by a continent but united in spirit. A good and decent man.
Tara Schnauz left a message on December 10, 2018:
I remember Bob fondly, with his camera in hand taking photos at fire scenes keeping a quiet eye and lenses on the whole situation. One extra set of eyes to watch safely . Rest peacefully after a life well served.
