Richard J. Leonetti Sr.

Richard Joseph Leonetti, Sr., age 81, passed away on Friday, December 17^th at Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township, New Jersey. He was born on April 28^th, 1940, to John and Catherine Leonetti in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is predeceased by his parents, and his son, Eric Leonetti. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Serafina (Sandy) Leonetti, and a beloved brother to John (Chubby) Leonetti, Jr. He leaves behind a son, Richard Leonetti, Jr. and his grandchildren, Erica, Ricky, and Lindsey. He will also be missed by his great-grandchildren, Riley, Joshua, Elena, and Benjamin.

Richard was a great man, who always put others above himself. He was a devoted Christian who loved to dedicate his time helping others. He adored his wife, and his grandchildren brought him endless joy. He liked spending time outside, and he loved the beach most of all. He also loved taking walks with his two dogs, Hunter and Toby. He was always on the go. He was a proud veteran who fought for his country. His work in the prison ministry was very dear to him, as he loved talking to people about God whenever he was given the opportunity. He touched so many lives while on this Earth, and he is celebrating up in heaven where we will one day see him again.
