Richard J. D’Orazio, on December 23, 2018, of Washington Twp.  Age 85.  Beloved husband of Dolores F. (nee Amato).  Devoted father of Richard D’Orazio (April), Debra Mandos (Robert), Mark D’Orazio (the late Vernetta), Donna Valentine (Jerry), and the late Denise D’Orazio.  Loving grandfather of Marisa, Robert, Julia, Jasmine and Jordin.  Proud great-grandfather of Sloane and Lily.

Rich grew up in the Italian Market in Philadelphia.  He was a boy Scout and graduated from Temple University of Philadelphia.  Rich married the love of his life, Dolores, in 1955.  He was an educator and administrator for the school district of Philadelphia for 40 years.  He was a founding member of St. Charles Borromeo RC Church, and was active in church activities throughout his life.  Rich was a member of the Board of Directors of Gloucester County Community College.  He enjoyed traveling to Europe, which he visited eleven times, and particularly loved Florence, Italy, which he visited eight times.  Rich also loved watching the Sixers and Phillies, but most of all loved his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 9:00 – 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo RC Church, 176 Stagecoach Road, Sicklerville, NJ 08081.  Mass of Christian Burial 11:15 am.
