On August 22, 2014 of Washington Twp. Age 68. Beloved husband of Maria R. (nee Walsh). Devoted father of Sean M. and the late Raymond T. Conarty, II. Dear brother of Theresa Beech, Carole O’Donnell and the late James Conarty. Loving son of the late Ruth Conarty (nee Wilson).

Ray loved and enjoyed his family and friends. He was always willing to share his knowledge to others if he thought it would help them. He always wanted to keep busy. He really enjoyed talking and interacting with children. Everyone could see his smile as he teased them and engaged in whatever game they wanted to play. Ray enjoyed collecting stamps, coins and many other treasures. “One mans trash is another mans treasure.” Ray will be forever missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday 8:30-10:15 am at the Egizi Funeral Home 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am at the Church of the Holy Family, Washington Twp. Interment, Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray’s memory may be made to Sacred Heart Home, 1315 West Hunting Park Ave., Phila., PA 19140. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com

Words cannot express my deep appreciation for Ray. I worked with Ray from 2007 until his retirement in 2011. During that time Ray was a major contributor who was always willing to share his unmatched knowledge and expertise to everyone who would listen. He never said no to anyone that asked for his help. I always counted on Ray to steer me in the right direction with every questions that I had. He was always willing to spend as much time as needed to make sure you not only received the information that you needed, but that you understood it.
