Uncle Ralph, we admire the life you lived as we all hope to be so lucky. I will always remember spending time with Brooke, my Mom and Dad and you and Aunt Marge at your LBI house playing in your pool and admiring all the paintings at your beautiful house. One of my favorites was a beach chair on a white sandy beach in which you gave me. That painting, a ‘Ralph Herman’ original, hangs on our bedroom wall making me smile each morning I get up. I will always cherish your Phillies ‘Herman’ practice jerseys you gave me as well....we all shared the same love for our Philly sports teams! We love you Uncle Ralph as you will be missed greatly.....xoxo!!!!

Marge, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked for Ralph at Garlock in the late 1970's. It was my first full-time adult job and Ralph was a great guy to work for. I hope that your memories of your life together will get you through this time. And I thank Ralph for his service to our country. God Bless.

Dear Marge, Skipper, family and friends, Our hearts are broken. We are so sorry. Marge and Ralph have been a very special part of our lives (Horner's) for many, many years. Our mom and dad became friends with Marge and Ralph way before we were born. Now that we are in our fifties, that gives you an idea about how long we've known Marge and Ralph and how close all of us are. So many wonderful memories we shared such as going to their shore house when we were little kids in LBI and later in years to Harvey Cedars and every time, Ralph would take us out on his boat. We shared his love for the shore and the water. Marge and Ralph would come down to visit us in Wildwood every year with our family as we spent our week family vacation. Although Marge and Ralph have always been our dear friends they are family to us. We shared many fun times together like birthdays and picnics and out to lunches and dinners and beach days and card nights and just visiting each other. There were events such as going to the Phillies game to see Ralph on the field for his time spent with the Phils at The Phillies Phantasy Camp. When they announced Ralph's name we gave him the biggest cheers and support. We were his fan club!! We can go on and on but we just want to say we love you Ralph and you will be missed!! Thanks for being a very special part of our lives. You'll always be in our hearts. God bless you. With our deepest sympathy and prayers. Love, Laura and Steve Wence

It breaks my heart to learn of Ralph's passing. I met Ralph and Marge through my work 5 years ago and they became my second parents. Ralph was just like my father and even looked like him. A very special person and I will truly miss him coming into the bank. You will never be forgotten. May you rest in peace. My prayers go out to Marge and family. Love, Meg
