Pietro “Pete” Aversa, on February 27, 2019, of Washington Twp.  Age 69.  Beloved husband of late Agostina (nee Gullo).  Devoted father of Nino (Renee), Rosa and Cathy Aversa.   Loving nonno of Dominic, AvaRose and Francesco. Dear son of late Antonino Aversa and Rosaria (nee Scarpaci). Dear brother of Nina Gullo (Carmelo), Lina Fordyce (Ray Jr.) and Rosa Renz (Jeff).

“Pete” was from Falcone, Sicily and moved to New Jersey in 1971.  He loved tending to his garden and sharing the vegetables with all his family and friends. He enjoyed grilling and loved going to Wildwood shore taking walks to the boardwalk. He was an excellent dog handler and raced homing pigeons. He loved being a part of any competition and enjoyed watching Philadelphia sports, NASCAR races and European soccer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Monday 8:15 – 9:15 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10:00 am at St. Bridget’s RC Church, Glassboro.  Interment Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro.
