Peter Popelak

On April 9, 2023, of Washington Twp.  Age 75.  Beloved husband of the late Madeline (nee Jeffers).  Devoted father of Jeanine DeFoney (John), Edward Carroll (Jessica), and Tonya Allen (Paul).  Loving grandfather of John, Brielle, Jared, Ryan, Eddie, Paul, and Aiden.

Peter was a proud husband, father, and US Navy Veteran with a heart of gold that showed through the unconditional love and care that he displayed while taking care of his late wife, Madeline, through the best and worst of times.  Peter had an undisputed devotion to his ancestry and religion.  He was also a compassionate animal lover and a proud retiree of I.U.O.E. Local 68 where he served his career as a welder at Bally’s Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday 8:30-9:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp.  Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Michael’s Orthodox Catholic Church, Philadelphia.  Interment, Oakland Cemetery, Philadelphia.
