Peter J. Proko, Jr., Esq., on April 20, 2013, of Washington Twp. Age 57. Beloved husband of Marie (nee Szymendera). Loving father of Peter J., III (Jacquelyn), Kimberly and Stephanie. Dear brother of Diane Baker (Mark), Richard (Susan) and the late Catherine Penglase (Michael). He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Peter graduated from LaSalle University and Temple University Law School and worked for the Department of the Navy for 36 years. He was a longtime coach for the Washington Twp. Parks and Recreation Department, former basketball coach for St. Joseph’s High School and loved to watch sports, especially the Philadelphia teams. He loved to travel and had a great sense of humor. He was devoted to his family and was eagerly awaiting the birth of his first grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 7:00 – 9:00 pm and Saturday 8:15 – 9:15 am at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Rd. Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10:00 am at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, Washington Twp. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing

In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter’s memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, The Philadelphia Bourse Bldg., 111 S. Independence Mall East, Suite 411, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
