Paul A. Romano, on June 19, 2014, of Blackwood. Age 71. Beloved husband of Florence A. (nee Anderson). Devoted father of Lisa O’Brien (Thomas), William Romano (Toni Ann) and Shannon Romano-McLoughlin (Jeff). Loving grandfather of Madelyn, Dylan, Anthony and Joseph.

Paul “Paulie” will be fondly remembered for his willingness to always help others and his outgoingness. Not a day went by without him trying to fix or lend a hand to someone. His favorite things to do were to garden, go fishing, be around his friends and family, go to work, and watch the horses. Paulie was a kind man and a fighter to the end! He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral Service 8:00 pm. Interment private.

At the family’s request, please no flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s memory may be made to Moorestown Visiting Nurses, 300 Harper Drive, Moorestown, NJ 08057. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com.

Mr. Romano, I will always remember your distinct voice…...Your green chair in the living room in front of the TV….Your miniature hot peppers…...The sheet metal insect project that you made for Lisa in 5th grade…..It was the best one! Your little Ford Escort (loaded with condiments) that Lisa and I drove around town. I will never forget your generosity….Bringing us flowers or basil. You were always so happy to share your knowledge and willing to help Wayne and me. You fixed our duct work (calling a few choice words we’ll never ever forget, by the way) and gave our family better air to this day. You shared a scary cancer with my husband, and you may not realize what inspiration and hope you gave him with your little talks. You were a rare and wonderful man. You will be missed.
