Patrick N. Murray, 79, of Glassboro, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Dublin, Ireland and immigrated to this country in 1958 with his dear wife, Philomena. He lived in Philadelphia before moving to Glassboro in 1997 when he retired as a Chief of Enforcement for the Revenue Department of the City of Philadelphia. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus.
Patrick leaves his loving wife of 52 years and devoted children Ann Murray Robinson and husband Randy, Neil and wife Lorna, and Mary Beth Ragozzino and husband Albert. Loving grandfather of Charlie, Jennifer, Alexa, Carly and Luke. Dear brother of Peggy Wood, Maeve Foy and the late Pierce. Also survived by beloved family friend Kristen Cornacchio.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, 1/22/11, from 8:00-10:00 a.m. at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Township, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 A.M., at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Glassboro. Interment thereafter at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery in Chews Landing, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Patrick N. Murray Memorial Scholarship Fund at Glassboro High School. Donations can be mailed to TD Bank, 700 N. Delsea Dr., Glassboro, NJ 08028.
Irish by birth and American by choice, he loved his adopted country and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

I was sorry to hear about the struggles Pat had in the past few months and that he had passed away. I had always looked forward to seeing him at family gatherings and the conversations I had with him. He always made me feel welcome. He loved his family and was proud of their many accomplishments.
