Patricia K. Gerle, (nee Kelly) on April 7, 2023 of Washington Twp. Age 74. Devoted mother of Kelley Pollard (Dean) and Gene Evans (Gina). Loving grandmother of Melissa (Greg), Bianca (Philip), Danielle (Tyler), Bec, Gabby, Alexis, Erica, and Gianna. Proud great-grandmother of Clara, Gavin, and Scarlett. Dear sister of Jean Townsend (William), Thomas Kelly (Kathi), and Timothy Kelly (Tami). Loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins, who lovingly referred to her as Aunt Patty. Loved by stepson Jason Gerle (Denise). Survived by her adoring nurse aides Janet, Bobbiann, and Stacy. Predeceased by her loving companion Steven Gerle.

Pat was born September 10^th, 1948 in Passaic, New Jersey. She graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 1966. Pat was a long-time employee of Atlantic City Expressway/SJTA. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her children and grandchildren, weekends down in North Wildwood, and took joy in trips to the casino with her dear friend, Maryann. Pat’s hobbies included stain glass art, knitting, listening to jazz music, and watching crime tv shows. She always looked forward to family dinners and reunions with her extended family. Pat raised a loving tight-knit family, which has produced a lifetime of countless and cherished memories. Her lively spirit lives on in each of us.

Pat will be greatly missed and remain in our hearts and souls forever.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday, April 14th 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 8:00 PM.

Dear Gran, There are no colors in the rainbow that can outshine your smile; There are no stars in the sky that sparkle as bright as your eyes; There is no great love more vibrant than the love you showered upon your beloved family. For so many, you will be deeply missed. Yet, I feel that your energy will hover over each of your family members. Reminders will occur, and they will know, "yeah, that was Gran". God called you home. You served Him well. May He grant you the peace of Heaven. May you know how loved you were and how thankful I am for meeting you and for sharing the beautiful you with Bec. My deepest thoughts and prayers remain with Kelley, Gene & their entire families. Amen, Wendy

A part of me is gone forever but not forgotten. Pat was always there when you needed someone to talk to and needed a friend. I will miss our annual thanksgiving getaways and our many shore trips. She was truly a FRIEND in every sense of the word. To Kelly and Gene she may be gone but will always be by your side.

My condolences to all of Pat's family. I didn't know Pat for long but I felt she was part of my family. We had lots of laughs ,and me telling her about my family. But most of all I will miss her giving me the finger and then we would laugh .I think about that a lot. I will miss you and your family Janet Palmer

I will be out of town and unable to make the viewing. I do however wish to offer my condolences to the family. I worked with Pat on the Xway and always found her to be very friendly and gracious. I am sure she will be missed. Heaven gained another Angel,,,,,,,,

So sorry for your loss.The first thing I think of when I think about Pat is when she was there a long with her son Gene when I was in a terrible place of darkness and was lost. She never judged me or ignored me.She helped me and guided me to find myself again, for that I am ever grateful.Rest in peace a loving angel ?

God will take care of you. Just keep all memories alive in your heart.

My deepest sympathies to Pat’s family and many friends, especially all her Expressway co-workers. Pat was never afraid to tell it as it is but more importantly she always expressed herself with a smile on her face. She was a great source of background information and a wonderful co-worker. She will be missed, even across the miles.

This wonderful, warm, co-worker, teacher and friend of 20 plus years will certainly be missed. We had opportunity to share many life experiences together! Praying for the family?? Rest peacefully Pat ?

I am going to miss Gran so very much. Her sass was my favorite part of her. I may not have known her prior to her decline in life, but being a fixture in her life, I was able to watch the amazing family she built and the pouring of support from every single person that surrounded them. Gran, thank you for making me place at the table with you and your family. I’m a better person because of you and them. You will be deeply missed. My condolences to all.
