Patricia A. Mellon (nee Furnival) of Mays Landing, passed peacefully on January 28, 2023. Devoted wife of the late Charles A. Mellon, Sr. Loving mother of Charles (Sophie), Pam (Tom), Maureen (Art), Fred (MaryFran), Kitty (Roger) and Tom (Joan). Cherished grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an avid reader who enjoyed playing cards, drives down to the shore, attending sporting events and recitals of her many grandchildren. She prayed the rosary often and had a special relationship with the blessed mother. In her later years, her greatest joy came from her great-grandchildren, sharing pictures and stories of those she loved dearly.
Patricia’s life will be celebrated privately by her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia’s memory may be made to Woodview Estates Activity Department, 5030 Unami Blvd, Mays Landing, NJ 08330.
