I remember him to love God, family and music. I am so very sorry for your loss...I only wish I could have paid my respects in person .. may God comfort all of you in his absence
Nicole Caragonne left a message on August 26, 2009:
Uncle Norman gave me my first experience in the Italian Market in Phillidelphia. It was a really neat experience being from Texas and walking through the streets watching people burn fires in a barrell and yelling to one another. For some reason I fell in love with the place and will never forget that experience. He also took me for my first south Jersey pretzel. He took the time to take my father and me accross town to eat the best known pretzels. It is the little things like his hospitality and send of humor I will forever remember. I wish I would have been able to pay my respects and say goodbye to my uncle, but I am in Iraq. Marlane, please know you are in my thoughts and prayers and may God give you strength. Love, Colie

the man I knew loved his wife, loved his children and loved music, especially singing. In short, he loved life and has left us way too soon. We will miss him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Norm and also with Marlane. He was such a nice, fun-to-be-with and caring person, and a key member of our Saint John, USVI condominium-owners group. We will miss him a great deal.

Condolences to Marlane and all who loved Norm. God gives us our gifs - what we do with them is our gift back...Norm was a giver from a song to a fix-it solution to a perfectly cooked meal...15 years of Norm and Marlane were a gift to all...15 years of weekly "kisses of peace" regardless of locale...may the legacy of good memories sustain you and may you always remember the incredible voice singing, "I'll be Seeing You"...thanks for sharing Norm with our family, our blessing.

Norm was a kind and loving man, and he will be missed. He and his wife Marlane were such a wonderful couple, and the two of them helped me through a very difficult time in my life. I was lucky enough to attend several of their famous St. Patrick's Day parties, and I will never forget listening to Norm singing karaoke, and how much he enjoyed it. Such a beautiful voice!
