My deepest sympathy to the Aquino family on the passing of Coach Nick. There was no kinder man that Coach Nick who was my son's WT baseball coach for many years. He wasnt just a coach to those boys (over a decade ago), he was truly an inspiration. Coach Nick always made you feel like his best friend no matter when he saw you and no matter how many years passed. He always remembered your name and asked about your kid. He will missed by so many and all of us have lost a best friend. https://www.egizifuneral.com/obituary/nicanor-l-aquino/

To Nick's Wife and Boys:
I am deeply sorry for your loss. Nick and I just got reacquainted when I arrived at Saints Peter and Paul after going to Thomas Jr. High together many years ago. He was always a smiling face and a warm presence every time we met. I know the pain you are all feeling at this time of loss and grief as if a tidal wave is trying to consume you. While I know it is easy for me to say "ride the wave", think of him fondly, laugh at those happy times knowing where he is and who he is with now. May you live in the peace of our faith.
my deepest condolences to AQUINO FAMILY

Nick and I worked at the Federal Bldg downtown Philly. We’d run into each other at the lobby or cafeteria. Nick greeted everyone, like a mayor. He had a huge smile and always shared encouraging words. He cheered me up on the worst of days. Thank you for your generosity. Reset in peace. You are all lifted in prayer.

It is with my deepest condolences ? that I offer to the Nick's family. He was a manager for a short time in TAS formerly none as PRP. He never called me by my first name always addressed md as SANCHO.
He always available if I needed his assistance. May peace be with him and the lord gives comfort to the family in their time of sorrow.
So sorry for your loss. A great guy. Nic was part of a small group of IRS employees and retirees that met for dinner twice a year. We will honor Nic at the upcoming dinner.
Nick was so much more than a co-worker. He was a friend who felt more like family. We both lost our mothers and we both battled cancer. Those shared experiences strengthen our friendship. It is a true honor to have traveled this path with Nick. We grieve his loss with Janet and his sons but know Nick’s place in eternity is secured. Rest well my friend.
My most sincere condolences to Nic’s family and all that loved him. He was an excellent mentor who never begrudged a moment of his time. His lighthearted, fun, wisecracking approach went a long way in easing some tension filled meetings. I’m going to miss waking up to his texts on every holiday especially the family Christmas pics. I pray that God blesses Nic and gives comfort to his family.

To the Aquino Family-
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Aquino was an amazing man. I remember the pride he had for his son Nino at the annual dance concert. He was so proud to see his son dance on stage. He said he got his dancing talent from him!!! That is when I found out that Mr. Aquino and my Dad worked together at the IRS. I saw Mr. Aquino again at Lincoln Financial Field a few years ago and he was so pleasant. He shared how his sons were doing and asked about my Dad. I will always remember him as wonderful man who loved his family and his children. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. His memory will live on with each of you. Praying for the entire Aquino Family. Sending love and light.

We will miss you cousin Nick. RIP no more pain. Sending hugs to Ate Janet, NicNatNo. Till we meet again.
Nick, you made me laugh in high school. Glad we stayed in touch all these years. Rest In Peace my friend.
Our heartfelt condolences to the family.May he rest in peace.
Nick was alway a positive and ever present dad. From Boy Scouts to Sports to the Plays and all school functions, He would joyfully seek us out to shake our hand and compliment the kids. He loved his wife and family well.. He will be missed.
Rest in peace my dear friend. You're missed!! I pray for comfort for your beautiful wife and children. Love you!??
Dear Janet & "The Boys." Nick's shoes will never be filled. As the longtime Commissioner (volunteer) & coach of Washington Township Youth (boys) Basketball, Nick asked me, "Frank, Can you coach?" I quickly responded, "I'll be your Assistant." The years of joy Nick brought to so many is unrivaled. During (annual) "The Draft," Nick wanted every kid who had the least experience & needed a bit of his enthusiasm. Nick molded boys into Men. For years, those kids would not give up. Nick would not allow it. Although every team was special, Nick catapulted the worst to the first! (not sure which Championship) Nick's sheer presence was awe-inspiring. A very few people knew Nick was battling. We surely didn't know how much. Nick wouldn't tell because he was not going to allow pity or negativity. Nick & Janet wanted to know how YOU were doing... a hug from Nick; not a handshake. Nick knew everyone because he always wanted to reach out; never forgot a name nor circumstance. At Church, it was so endearing to see Nick, Janet & their boys ALWAYS present; Nick making the rounds, giving hugs to just about everyone. (Nick would even let you know when you missed Mass (es…) The extended Aquino Family are just marvelous people. Nick would teach his friends & colleagues about his family's strong faith & commitment to teaching Filipino & American traditions / culture / faith. Nick, other than battling like no other, had one other secret. He'd whisper, "Please don't tell people I'm a FED! … especially for IRS!" Nick Aquino is looking down on us, especially his family right now. With the thousands of lives touched by Nick, God now has bigger plans. To Janet & the boys, Thank you for allowing Nick to spend so much time molding Washington Township's youth. He made everyone he met a better person & we hope to see him again. Respectfully, Frank, Michelle & Frankie Gurcsik (Nick will have a belly laugh & grin seeing everyone this Friday & Saturday. He wants us there to celebrate life.)
