Born Nancy Elaine Craft on April 26th, 1955 to Raymond and Elsie Craft in Wiesbaden, Hesse, Germany. Nancy’s dad was in the Air Force. He and Elsie were together and stationed overseas at the time of Nancy’s birth. After returning to the states, her parents took up residence in Dover, Delaware.
Nancy was a graduate of Dover High School. She continued her education at Delaware State College and began her web development training at the Delaware College of Art and Design.
As a young girl, Nancy had a flair for art and felt most comfortable with a paint brush in her hand. She tooled in leather and exposed herself to many different forms of art, music and literature. Creativity filled her young life.
Nancy loved to travel and was fortunate to visit Europe and also lived for a short time in Australia. She was a curious person and learning the history of different places and cultures greatly held her interest.
And Nancy was an activist. Through the use of the internet and her computing skills she would reach out to friends and family to express her views on environmental issues, human rights and politics. Always searching for the truth.
She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother.
She was a shoulder to cry on or an ear to bend.
She was a friend to many and will long be remembered.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday 10:00-11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Celebration of Life service 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
