Spoke with John a couple of months ago. We kept in contact over the past 45 years or so. I was John's assistant at SS. Peter & Paul from 1987 through 1991. I considered John a mentor to me. He was a joy-filled man who loved people. He always brought fun and laughter to the work of the church. He was a priest not afraid to have a good time and enjoyed life. He told me on a phone call a couple of months ago in his Irish brogue: "Well, you know I've had a good run, Kevin. This life owes me nothing". Many a times at the Library, the owner Brian was lovely to John and me when we would have a dinner there. Wonderful women he had in his life and they were so beautifully supportive and he truly loved them. I have special thanks so the late Dixiana Naughton, and Jane Guidotti for their wonderul love and caring for John. May God rest his soul, and may he rest in peace. I will miss him. He is always with me.
you were a great man bless you
Thank you for always caring for my parents during my mom's daily struggle with MS and when my dad was passing away. You meant so much to them. Thank you for con-celebrating our marriage 18 years ago! You will be missed.
Sending Condolence from Co. Cavan Ireland. A pleasant and caring person to all people
Monsignor Clarke was my administrator and mentor when I was a young teacher at Saint Bridget's School in Glassboro. His big smile, laughter, encouragement, and kind heart will always be fondly in my memories. His kind and jovial manner blessed the lives of all those who knew him. He will be sadly missed!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
We are truly saddened by your loss. We will always smile when we share memories of you. So honored to have had all these years knowing such a wonderful man. You will be so missed
Monsignor Clark will always hold a special place in our hearts. I met him over 30 years ago when I was a parishioner at St. Peter and Paul. He married my wife Donna and me, and was gracious enough to allow it to be con-celebrated by the minister from her church. 20 years later he officiated our vow renewal. We'd often see him at the Library IV restaurant, enjoying his scotch. We were Thursday night regulars there. He would always say "if Kevin and Donna are here, it must be Thursday night" in that charming Irish brogue we loved. RIP Monsignor Clark. We will miss you.
i was a parishioner of father clarke at st. edward's in pine hill in the late 70's, early 80's, and remember him as a warm, quiet, thoughtful leader. i was not active in church affairs, but he had the reputation of being financially astute. by far the biggest fundraiser each year was the spring-summer carnival, which even had a beer garden! his first or second year there, he bought "rain" insurance for the carnival to protect against a huge loss that a small, poor parish like his could not afford. it rained cats and dogs every day of the festival so that they couldn't even open up anything, until the last day when it was gorgeous, and all the parishioners and local townspeople showed up in droves and spent nearly the full week's normal receipts in that one day! the parish received the full daily payouts of whatever fr. clarke had purchased, and then they had the blowout final day showing that fr. clarke had more than just a little divine inspiration!

Msgr.. Clarke was God’s gift to SS. Peter and Paul Parish. Our family thanks him for all the sacraments we received with him as our Pastor: Penance, Holy Communion, Confirmation, Matrimony, Baptism. All times two! And all on video!. How lucky we are to be able to remember him often. Rest in Peace, Monsignor!

Msgr. John Clark was my friend and I value those days when I was his president of Parish Council at St. Edward’s in Pine Hill. We hit it off right from the beginning. Our paths crossed many times after that which would bring happiness to my heart. My Mother taught me to never say “Good Bye”, always say so long because that way we will meet again.
So long my dear friend until we meet again and Thank You, My Ftiend!☘️☘️☘️??????
Rest easy Msgr. Clarke
I'll miss your smile, your humor and just you! You have always been there for me and my family over the last 46 years, in good times and bad, and I thank you, from the heart for that. We love you and I miss you already. God Bless you. Love JoAnn
A warm, witty, loving man. He gave guidance and comfort to a countless number of us that were fortunate to know him. God bless you Monsignor. Eternal rest in our Lord’s peace.
What a loss to the priesthood and everyone’s lives Father Clark came in touch with. Fond memories as I feel we have know him forever.
First through OLQP in Pitman, how many siblings did he baptize? Later my sister insisted on him being the priest for her wedding. Saying my dads funeral and of course cracked a joke during it! And finally full circle he blessed my daughters marriage and celebrated with our family at the reception, as if no time had ever passed.
Rest in peace father and get the jokes ready for when you meet my mom & dad and the rest up there.
The world lost a great man. I lost a great friend.rest in peace Msgr
