Monty R. Lybrand, on April 13, 2013, of Mountain Home, AR, formerly of Washington Twp. Age 82. Beloved husband of the late Josephine (nee Crea). Devoted father of JoAnna (John Vanaman) and the late Gregory Lybrand. Loving grandfather of Gregory and Giovanni.

Mr. Lybrand proudly served his country with the US Marines. He was also a member of the Sons of Italy. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, traveling, reading and going to the casinos. He was a funny man with a wonderful sense of humor! He also enjoyed watching his Philadelphia Eagles.

Monty touched so many hearts and will be greatly missed. He was truly an inspiration!

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday 9:30-11:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com.

Monty was the dearest man I have ever known. He was always there for me whenever I needed. He adopted us as his second family. He always had a joke to tell and a joy to be around. Dear Dad, My heart is ripped apart and I cry for you everyday. I can't tell you how much I miss you and as I type this tears roll down my face...You always will be the BEST dad ever! You have taught me so much. Your love, wisdom, humor, intelligence, and caring things you did for your family and friends will be passed down to your grandkids! You fought strong and hard and I will never understand why you left us so early..Your grandkids live inside of you and are a reflection of you in a lot of who they are and what they do. You have been a wonderful grandfather to them and they will always cherish you and the memories you have given them! No matter where I am or what I am doing you will always be with me.
