Ortiz, Mildred nee Carrero, on September 11, 2011, of Washington Township. Age 87. Beloved wife of the late Leon Ortiz. Devoted mother of Stephanie Crivaro and Valerie Volpe. Loving grandmom of Stephanie, Jenifer, Christine, Lisa, Dina, and TJ. Great-grandmom of Leigha, Alex, Sam, Sal, Nic, Ethan, Drew, Owen, and Jason. Dear sister of Robert, and the late Joseph and John.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing 8:15 to 10:15 am Thursday, at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am at Mary Mother of Mercy Parish, Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mildred’s memory to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, 4742 N. 24th Street Suite 400, Phoenix, AZ 85016

Love you Mil!

I was sorry to hear of Aunt Mildred's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. She is in a good place now. Most importantly, she is resting with her soul mate.

My cousins...I'm so sorry for your loss, I will keep Aunt Mildred my Godmother in my prayers. Now Aunt Mildred feels no pain and is reunited with her loved one's especially Uncle Leon and they are both watching over you together again.

Who can I call every morning and every night - - but making sure the phone call doesn't interupt Regis and Kelly? Whose house can we always find lots of ice cream? Who is going to tell me stories of your brothers when they were little because my boys remind you of them? Who is going to remind me to buy lottery tickets when the jackpot goes high? Whose going to ask me if I ironed the kids clothes everyday? Whose going to stand at the front door of your house until I drive away and you can't see my car anymore? I miss you Gram. Love, Ni-Ni
