Michael Liquori 11.29.1939 – 01.09.2024
Michael M. Liquori, 84, peacefully left this Earth to be joined with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Tranquility Hospice of Kennesaw Mountain.
Michael was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on the 20th of November,1939 to the late Josephine & Urbano Liquori, both of whom were Italian Immigrants who found love in America.
He was proud to have served in the United States Marine Corps. -oorah! – and was a loyal and loving Patriot. He spent many years in New Jersey where he raised his family along side his wife and was involved in coaching many of his children’s sports teams in their early ages. He also was a devout Catholic who attended church weekly.
He was very proud of his Italian-American heritage and very true to his parents roots. He was a hard worker who was employed for most of his life for different companies driving trucks. He retired from Hale Trailer, Brake and Wheel after over 25 years.
In addition to always being remembered for his love of his country and his heritage, Michael was known for having such a fun and illuminating personality. He loved to sing the likes of Dean Martin and probably thought that he was as good as him.
Beloved husband of Patricia Ann (nee Burke), of 45 years. Father of Josephine M. Carroll, Annamarie Buonadonna (Donny), Tricia L. Skowronski (Greg), Christopher Teot (Tammy), Michael Liquori, and Mark Liquori (Elizabeth). Grandfather of 12. Great-grandfather of 10. Brother of the late Mario, Ralph, Joseph, Mary, and Al.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday, February 17th 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory may be made to Veterans Helping Veterans.
