Michael Frederick Huber, Jr.
On April 27, 2010, of Washington Twp. Age 85. Beloved husband of Erna M. nee Held. Devoted father of Barbara Wethman Bill, Linda Woodrow Chuck, Michael Huber Kathy and John Huber Cindy. Loving grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 8. Dear brother of Edward, Anthony and the late Bill Huber.
Michael was born in Baltimore, MD, and reared in Collingdale, PA. He was a resident of Washington Twp. for 44 years. Michael entered the Army and was stationed in Ansbach, Germany, during WWII. He was employed by the Ford Motor Co., Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, Reagan’s Transportation Co. and Washington Twp. School Maintenance. Michael was an historian for the American Legion Post #521 and served on the Veterans’ Advisory Council for Washington Twp. He loved fishing in Hatteras and also loved “The Captain”. Above all, Michael was dearly loved by his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday eve 7:00 – 9:00 pm and Saturday 8:15 – 9:15 am at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am at the Church of the Holy Family, Washington Twp. Interment Gloucester County Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
