Mike was a good friend when we were growing up and playing Parks and Rec baseball together. We continued our friendship throughout high school and graduated together. We have kept in touch because we both loved and worked in the floor covering field. He always had a great smile and a positive outlook on things. He will be missed but not forgotten.
Veronica and family,
I worked with Mike at Mannington, we did a presentation together a few years ago and I will always remember that time we spent together. He spoke about you often and I could tell that he was very in love. After your sons were born he would light up every time he spoke about them and he would always show us pictures. Mike was just a genuinely good person and I will never forget him.
My thoughts are with your family.
Cristen

Dear Mike Fanelli Family,
Mike and I were both DM's for Mannington, and I got to know him over the years at our periodic meetings. He was a great guy to me and I know he was also a loving father and husband and friend. His courage has been an inspiration to me as we at Mannington have had you and him in our prayers. May God bless you all.
Veronica and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Words cannot express it enough. Stay strong for yourself and the boys. WE are here for you if you need anything. Our deepest condolences.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Dear Veronica and Family,
While I have never had the pleasure of meeting you , I did have the honor of knowing Mike. Mike had a unique way of lifting others up with his smile , his energy and his passion for life. I thank God that I had the opportunity in this life to meet such a fine young man.
I pray that God will hold you and your children closely during this time of your loss.
Dear Fanelli's- Mike was one of my favorite people at Mannington. I looked forward to seeing him at all our meetings. Between cars and kids, we always had plenty to talk about. He always had the latest pic's of the boys on his phone and shared them with everyone. I am not sure if I have ever met a more proud daddy. I will miss him dearly. You will remain in my prayers.
Dear Vernonica and Mr. and Mrs. Fanelli,
I am so sorry for the loss of Mike. I have been getting updates from my brother Pat-even in thru this horrible ordeal he could make you laugh. His smile, laugh and passion for life will be greatly missed. I know words cannot fill the heavyness in your heart-please take comfort in how Mike has touched so many peoples lives with his contagious smile and that he is at peace.
Dear Veronica and the entire family,
I am so sorry to hear of Mikes passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Dearest Eileen and family,
I know how empty words can seem at this indescribable time. There is a hole in your heart that nothing else can fill and my heart is aching for all of you. I pray that the strength and courage Michael had will be passed on to all of you as you begin this journey. Thinking of what a joy Michael was and the shining spirit that shone through reminds me of something I once heard, a candle that burns twice as bright only lasts half as long. And Michael truly had that special gift that will long remain as we treasure the memories of him. God bless you, and give you His peace.
When I started with Elias Wilf. The first person I met from Mannington was Mike. I was to meet several people for a meeting/ golf outing. As I walked into the clubhouse for a round of golf. He said to me "you must be the new guy, suppose to be on the lookout for a big guy". Of course, he stood next to me in comparision. Great guy to meet for the first time and always a positive person.
Only the good die young! Rest now dear mike. bless and watch over your family. You will be truly missed!!!!!
We shared many great times through the years and I will miss our yearly meeting for deer hunting stories and a cheesesteak. He was a great husband, father and friend and will be missed by many.
My prayers and thoughts are with you and the boys. We will never understand why God has done this but that don't mean he doesn't care and love you. Please allow your friends and family to surround you with their love and support. The Whitehall family is here for you and the boys. We look forward to the time when you are ready to return to us.
Ginger Grant

We all will miss him terribly. A wonderful life was cut way to short. Please know that all of you are in our hearts and prayers.
With love and our deepest sympathy.
We have lost a fine young man and heaven has gain one. We ask God to bless your family and lovesone's .Amen
I only knew Mike a short time but from the first time I met him I knew he was a good person, full of life, laughter and a smile. He was devoted to his family, his work and his hobbies, especially his cars. Mike and I spent a morning in Las Vegas in a car museum. I didn't go because of my interest in cars, I had none. But when he asked me to join him I did because I wanted to get to know him better. His passion and knowledge of the antique cars was addictive. He reached out to me as I know he reached out to many others. I am sorry I didn't have an opportunity to know him better. He and his family are in my prayers. I will miss him, as anyone he touched will as well. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to express my feelings. My wish now is that his family and friends will find peace and live healthy, happy lives. I know that is what Mike would want.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Fanelli, Veronica, Nicholas, Ron, Sydney, and family, We are at a loss for words. We have known all of you for much of our lives and just wanted to let you know how sorry we are for the loss of Michael. He was an incredible human being, well what can we say? Look at the family he came from. The best people we will ever know. It has been a blessing to have known him and we will never forget him. We love you all so very much and please if there is anything you need or if you need someone to talk to, we are here for you. Just celebrate Michael's life and all the good memories. Maybe God needed him!
Veronica,
Your husband was an amazing man and friend. I never met a person who touched so many hearts with his brilliant smile and personality. He was a true friend who was always there when I needed him. The support from his loyal friends just shows you the kind of guy he was. Words can't describe the loss we feel. My heart and prayers go out to you, Nicky and Marc. Love ya.
You are so blessed to have had that special young man in your life. Michael had that unique quality of being liked by all. I do remember so very well that cute little blonde boy with the captivating smile being a charmer from Day One on School House Lane. You just couldn't resist him. Please know how much we care and pray for God to give you the strength and courage to carry on.
Veronica I am thinking of you and the boys. I will miss Mike's contangious smile and his happy outlook on life. Love, Amy
Dear Veronica & Family,
You don't know me and I haven't seen or talked with Mike for more than 10 years but I wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all, especially your children.
A couple years after high school, Mike and I were friends and kept in touch on and off for a number of years...I saw him as a loving person who was always smiling and fun to be around. Even though I hadn’t seen him in recent years, I did think of him every now and then...missing him being around. Earlier this year, when I learned from a mutual friend of the battle he was in, I also learned that he had married and had two young children. I am very happy that he found love and had a family…he so deserved that. I am so sorry that you have to endure the pain you must be feeling now and have felt at the thought of losing him so soon. I wish you and your family my deepest sincerest condolences.
With love and my deepest sympathy,
Suzanne Burke

Mr. and Mrs Fanelli, Ron and Veronica,
Growing up on School House Lane and remembering all of the wonderful childhood memories with Mike. As I've read through the comments, the one shared thought was Mike's smile and warmth. He was that way as a kid, all the way through adulthood.
My heart breaks for you all. Mike was truly a wonderful person. I'm sorry in recent years we have not stayed in touch but will always have such wonderful thoughts and memories.
God bless you all to have the strength to get through this.
Love Glen, Linda, Andrew and Eric
Ronnie and Fanelli family,
I spent half my life in the military. I know what a warrior looks like. Mike fought a vicious war. His spirit was unbowed. I seen his parents at the hospital.
I know were that courage came from.
I'm sure he passed it to his boys.
God bless.
Eileen and Family,
I was so sad to hear about Michael's passing. I never met him yet you have been a part of my life from the time I was a little girl! After reading all the warm and wonderful thoughts about him it's easy to see where he gets it. You have taken care of Unk for such a long time. I will always appreciate you for that. I know the faith and love you have for God will get you through this! Love, Bethers
Dear Veronica,Nicky,Marc Aunt Eileen & Uncle Ron , Ronny & Sydney

You were always there for me growing up, you were like a 2nd brother to me. You always gave the best advice, you were always there for me!! And no matter where i went the first thing out of peoples mouths was "Have you seen Mike?" That's a testament to the life you lived. You touched so many people!! I will always treasure the good times we had growing up as kids, I will miss talking about the old times with you, your stories, your smile & your laugh, I will miss you my friend,it was an honor calling you "My Cousin"
Love Mark
"Fanell" just made you smile. You would see Mike coming up to you to say "Hi" and just smile, because you saw his huge grin a mile away, and you knew you were going to get a warm embrace. He was one of the most sincere, engaging, down-to-earth people I knew -- he will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Veronica, the boys and the Fanelli family
I was fortunate to know Mike because of the flooring industry. As one of his customers, Mike was always the professional and well respected. On his visit to our company, Mike would share a story with us about the kids, and his face would light up with pride and joy. Mike was truly one of the good guys in this world. I am saddened by his loss and wish his family my most sincre sympathy and hope that the memories of his life bring comfort at this sad time.
I am so sad to here about Mike. He really was one of the nicest people I ever met when I moved to Washington Twp. He made you feel welcome without even trying. Not only could he make you smile but he could make you laugh! He had a great sense of humor! My thoughts and prayers to Mike's Family and anyone who knew him.
It is incredibly hard to understand why this happens to such a wonderful young man with a fine young family. Your loss must be heaven's gain. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mike's family, friends and co-workers.
My deepest sympathy to the Fanelli family. Rest in peace Michael.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

The Whitehall School faculty and staff send their sincere condolences to all of you. We know that Michael was the love of your life and the boys. Be strong and remember that we are there for you.
Aunt Eileen and Uncle Ron,
It's very difficult for me to take all of this in. I'll never forget being a little girl and watching Michael work on his race car in the drive way. Then being so excited to go watch him race! I miss those days on Schoolhouse Lane. All of my thoughts and prayers go out to you guys, Ronnie, Veronica, and the boys. I'm always here to help out with anything. That's what family is for. I love you guys so much. Stay strong. Know that God has much bigger plans for Michael.
Love,
Laura & John
We have watched Michael grow from a young boy to the fine young man and father that he became. Our prayers are with his wife and children, his parents and brother. May God sustain you with his strength and comfort.
Mr.& Mrs. Fanelli, Ronny & Sydney, and Veronica Nicky and Mark,
I have so many great memories of growing up with Mike, and even sharing deer stories and pics as we've gotten older. Mike has always been a true and genuine person, and always made you feel good about yourself. He lived the years he had here to the fullest, and touched many people along the way.
You all continue to be in our thoughts and prayers, God Bless.
Rex, Linda, Rex and Cole
I am deeply saddened to hear of Mike's passing.
I remember coaching Mike in baseball as a young teenager... tiny little guy, dragging around all that catching gear-- but always with a smile and always making everyone around him smile as well. I have thought of him often since then and just knew he'd turn out to be the great man he was . He will be missed but his spirit will live forever.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I remember Mike for his positve attitude and always a smile. He loved to talk about his cars. He will be missed by all. God Bless.
Dear Fanelli Family,
One day Mike and I happened to be on the same flight coming home from a meeting down and High Point, NC. It was before his oldest son was born and I had a two year old at home. I got bumped off the flight but Mike insisted I take his seat to go see my wife and son. I never forgot the pure kindness of that gesture and I never will. It says so much about the kind of person he was. He was the best and we will all miss him terribly.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Mike, may you rest in peace and your family find comfort and peace through God's love. You were a good man. Joe and Christine
May your soul rest in peace and rise above to always shine down on us, with the rays of sun that will warm our hearts and remind us of you. Rest in Peace Mike.. Much Love
I'm so very sorry for your loss, your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
Ron, Eileen, and Ronnie--I was so very saddened to hear about Michael's illness and his passing. I worked with Mike at Mannington for only a short six years. In that short time Mike became a great friend. He was quick to bring me up to date on the boys with a few new pictures and stories. He provided valuable advice as we had our first child. I will never forget his smile, and his ability to make friends and influence those around him was unmatched. Michael my friend, I will miss you, but know that you have made a great impact on everyone. Love Travis, Debby and Grayson Mae.
To the Family, Know that we are sharing in your sorrow and lifting you up in prayer. May you feel God's comfort and grace all around you.
I met Mike in highschool, he was a good guy, we lost touch over the years, but he was one of those people that you never forget. I'm sorry for your loss and my prayers are with your family.
It's not how long a star shines, but how brighlty it shined. Mike shined so brighlty with his hard working, fun loving passion for life. There wasn't a visit that he didn't show off pictures of his boys. He left us all smiling and laughing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I don't know what to say, Mike touched so many different people during his short lived life. Just today I realized that we had mutual friends at Mannington Mills.
You left me with so many memories from the days of W.T.A.A., High School and becoming a father.
One memory that I will never forget is the White Water Rafting trip in West Virginia with Bob Hall. I have the picture hanging on my office wall and with every vistor that asks about the picture I will tell them about you.
It's been a BLESSING to know you and be your friend
Ron and Eileen,
Words can't express how sad we feel about Michael's passing. His contagious smile and generous spirit will never be forgotten. He will live on through all of those that loved him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your family, Veronica, and those adorable boys.
To all who loved Mike~
There are not enough words to express the loss that we are all feeling. Mike was a loyal friend. He made you smile just by seeing his face. He was surrounded by friends that have been there for each other for years and years. It was always so much fun to be around them all when they were telling stories about their past adventures! It makes me laugh just to think of some of them. We will all hold those memories just a little bit closer to our hearts now. Great memories and a great friend!!
My deepest sympathy to the entire Fanelli family~Kim DeLong Pedati

Matthew 5:4 says
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Although it has been a long time since I cut Mike's hair I can remember everytime he sat in my chair being so pleasant. Even if I was in a bad mood he could just get me right out of it. That was a long time ago but than I saw him about 5 or 6 months ago and sure enough he was that same pleasant guy I knew back than. Not to long after that I found out about his cancer and I thought no way not Mike, and hopeing and praying that he could fight the battle. It sadden me to here that he lost that battle. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Fanelli Family. Be at peace Mike. Love, Bernadette Cirillo

My sincerest of condolences go out to the entire family at this time of great loss. Having worked with Mike for the past 7 years, I can honestly say Mike was one of the most genuine, kind hearted, and honest people I knew... and he will be sorely missed by so many. His love and pride for his family was apparent- as his much anticipated visits to Elais Wilf always meant we'd get to oogle photo albums of Marc and Nicholas, and hear all the great stories about Mike's adventures in fatherhood. While I know he was taken too early, I know his fight was a courageous one. I also know that he will live on through his beautiful children, his wonderful wife, friends and business partners alike- because he gave us all so much.
Veronica, Nicholas, Marc, Family & Friends- Although it is impossible to see beyond the pain for now, may you look back in to good memory to comfort and help guide you through these difficult times. May your hearts and souls find peace and happiness through those memories, because those are the gifts he left all of us that will last a lifetime.
My deepest condolences to his wife
and family, haven't seen Mike years, never forget a face. sorry I didn't
get to see more of him over the years.
A good person missed.
I am truly saddened by the loss of Mike and will miss him tremendously. While 43 years is relatively short there is a small amount of comfort in the fact that Mike lived robustly in those years. Mike's unstoppable energy is what I will remember most. He was a wonderful person and someone I will never forget. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mike’s family in their time of grief.
Please except our condolences.
To Veronica and the Fanelli Family: I had the pleasure of working with Mike at Mannington. Because he was "local", he and I got involved in numerous training programs. Mike was great to work with and was always positive and upbeat. As many have already said, he couldn't wait to share the latest baby photos on his camera phone. His was definitely a life cut short but he left his mark on everyone who had the pleasure of being around him. May he rest in peace and may you all draw strength and comfort in knowing that Mike is looking out for you from above.
Dear Eileen & Ron,
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Cheryl
To Veronica, Nichloas, Marc and the entire Fanelli Family
Seldom does a person make such an impact on other peoples lives like the way Mike did. He understood the priorities of life better than anyone I've had the privilege of knowing. Love of Family, Love of Friends, and the Love of Work. Mike may have passed way too early, but we are the ones who were cheated. Veronica, please know we're here for you and the boys when you need us. You will always be in our prayers and Mike is always in our thoughts.
I went to HS with Mike. Mike used to give me rides to the ferry in woodbury to get to work at the navy yard. Mike always made me laugh. My heart is with his family at this time. I worked with Ron in the Pizza place, what great memories. I will miss Mike but will forever have the memories.
Words can not describe the laughter and joy Mike brought to us when he visited the store. He always found a way to make us laugh till our belly's hurt whether it was with a joke or one of his famous one liners and best of all the stories he used to tell us, he always had us smiling even on our most stressful days. Mike brought an air of happiness to everyone one he came in contact with he was truley a wonderfully amazing individual he will be greatly missed. From all of us at Quality Carpets our deepest thoughts and condolences go out to his wife Veronica and there two beautiful boys, also to his parents and any other family and friends who are grieving along with us. Michael will forever be a memory in our hearts and minds he truley touched us all.
My Thoughts and Prayers are with you. My heart breaks for the loss of Michael. He was one of the good ones.
Michael will always live in your hearts and in the smiles of his boys. Take comfort in knowing that Michael is now cradled in the arms of God. And he will always be watching out for you. Take peace in the fact that we know, one day we all will be together again in Gods Kingdom.

Pat Theis and family
Ronnie and the Fanelli family,
Ronnie you were my first niece and always special. That's why you were named after my sister who was always the strength of our family.
Like my daughter, you were never in a hurry to get married. I thought that was good because you deserve the best.
Then suddenly, to me,I heard you were engaged. I thought this guy must be really something.
He certainly was. I remember at the wedding his many friends were like a fraternity. They were far from casual friends. Most people have 2-3 close friends. Not Mike.
Ronnie,
I am so sorry for your loss. You have been very strong for your boys and I really admire you as a mother and a wife. Our prayers continue to be with you. Take care of yourself during this difficult time. I am so glad that Michael isn't suffering anymore. We will be thinking of you all.
Love,
Cindy Hampton
Truly sad news. I have nothing but fond memories of Michael. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Fanelli family.
We are so deeply sadden and Mike will be greatly missed. He was a special freind and I will always cherrish the memories with him Hoping it will help to know that warm and sympathetic thoughts are with you and the family.
Mike was the shining star when he came into Elias Wilf. He brightened everyone's life always. I treasure the pictures of the boys on my board that he gave me..although, he gave me much more - and that was his friendship. May God be with your and your boys in the days to come. May his memory live forever in your hearts. Peggy Mooney
Dear Ron & Eileen;
Words can never express the way we feel in our hearts. I can remember the day Michael was born and witnessed his growth from a cute little boy, to a mischievious teenager and then growing up to be a fine young man and a great father.
We are sad in our hearts of his early passing but we celebrate our faith knowing he is with our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.
Though his time here was relatively short our comfort is in the reality that his next step is for eternity in heaven.
May God bring you comfort in the tough times that lie ahead and may he grant you peace and tranquility knowing that you now have a special angel praying for you in Heaven.
God Bless You Both
Uncle Tony & Linda
Dear Ronnie,
My heart goes out to you and your boys. I can't imagine how difficult this is for all of you. You showed remarkable strength during Michael's illness, and I know your family will pull together to help. Don't be afraid to lean on your friends for support. Your Whitehall family will be with you every step of the way. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Kathy, Rachel, Ashley, Micheal and Tommy Ungvarsky
Veronica and family,
I am deeply saddened of the news of your husband's death. Your husband seemed like he was a wonderful husband and father. I know what you're going through Veronica because I lost my husband 4 years ago to cancer at the age of 34. If you ever ever need to talk to someone who can sympathize with you, please e-mail me. I know it seems very hard and you will NEVER forget him but it does get a little bit better with time. In time, you will be able to smile at memories of your husband instead of breaking down. May God bless you and your family. Your husband is an angel in heaven now looking down on you and your children. Your are in my thoughts and prayers.
Fanelli Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. Mike was a great guy to be around. I will always remember him for his happiness and the green pants he wore in elementary school and the fact that he was my first childhood sweetheart.
Mark and I send our love.

Dear Eileen and Uncle Ron, I want to express my sincere condolences for your loss. I was glad to hear that mom and dad were able to fly up to be with you and your family at a time like this. I have always heard wonderful things about Michael and I am so sorry I never got to meet him. Please express my condolences to his wife and tell her that she and her sons are in my prayers. Love Eddie Guadalupe John and Linda Cancel's son
Dearest Eileen and Ron,
It is often said that an individuals life is measured by his contributions and deeds during his lifespan. If this is indeed true, Michael's "Footprints" left behind a wonderful, expansive legacy of love, kindness, joy, compassion and laughter! We therefore are not saying good bye but a heartfelt thank you for allowing us to watch him grow from a precocious teenager into a succesful businessman, loving husband, doting father and dedicated son. He will always remain in our thoughts and prayers as will his loving wife Veronica and his beautiful boys Marc and Nicky. Again, we thank you both for allowing us into your family and giving us the opportunity to be a part of Michael's life. Forever grateful, We love you, Linda and John
Dear Aunt Eileen, Uncle Ron, Ronnie, Veronica, Nicky and Marc: I can't express in words how deeply heartbroken I am for the passing of Michael. We all grew up together on Schoolhouse Lane; the memories will never be forgotten. Mike was a fantastic cousin and friend; he was always there whenever you needed him. All of you are in my prayers. As Aunt Eileen said my son is now in Paradise with our Lord. God Bless all of you. Miss you Mike.
Dear Eileen and Ron, Ronnie, Veronica, Nicky and Marc: I am devasted for your loss. I will always remember Michael as the most beautiful golden child. He grew up to be the best of a young man. He knew just what he wanted in life, and did not mind waiting for it and working for it. When he met you Veronica, he knew you were the one. You had the most beautiful wedding and two beautiful baby boys. He was so very proud. Now you are in heaven with Jesus. And now it is time to say a sorrowful good-by to our Golden Boy. May you rest in peace forever in the arms of our angels. All my love forver, Aunt Marion
Dear Aunt Eileen, Uncle Ron, Ronnie, Veronica, Nicholas, & Marc,
I am at a loss of words at a sad time like this. Michaels' life was short lived down here on earth, however, his life as one of God's Angels have just begun. I will never forget his bright smile and eyes full of life growing up next to him on Schoolhouse Lane. He was a great cousin and friend to all and will truely be missed.
Dear Ronnie & Family,
We are so very sorry for your loss! Praying for your hearts to find peace!
Thinking of you!
