Dear Susan, Chris, Matt, and Kevin, I was so sad to hear about Michael today. If I had known earlier, I would have attended the services. I have fond memories of Michael and Caitlyn being in school together- And of all of you! Having lost Caitlyn 3 1/2 years ago, I understand how devastating it is to lose a child or sibling. It has been one of the most heartbreaking experiences of our lives. On a positive note, Rob, Jenn, and I are all still standing- it takes a lot of faith, love, and support from one another. I met Michael years ago, we worked together at McDonald's, but our families know each other. He was such a good person we had a blast at work. I've always wondered how he was doing, so sad to see this. Prayers for the family

My heart is broken over the news of Michaels passing. He was a big part of my family when the boys were growing up. He had so much life in him and always making everyone laugh. My heart is broken for his parents, as no parent should lose a child. I know he will be greated with open arms by TJ, Mattie, Sean and Nick D. Too many gone so young, but live in our hearts and minds forever and in eternal life. Michael was a hero right to the end giving his organs so others could live. So, he lives on in this world and the eternal ever lasting life that has no pain nor evil. He can and will be his parents and brothers personal guardian angel. I believe this with heart and soul. I have so many funny stories that to this day I tell about him. Hopefully when the time is right I can tell his parents of one funny story I will never forget. Im blessed to have met you Michael. I will never say rest in peace because one I hate that saying and two a new life for you is begging.
