On April 8, 2010, of Washington Twp. Age 45. Beloved son of the late Walter, Jr., and Mary M. nee Winters. Dear brother of Daniel Carol, John Angela and the late Mary and Walter, III. Loving uncle of Jennifer, Brittany, Amanda, John, Zachary, Caitlin and Julianna. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday eve 7:00 – 9:00 pm and Tuesday 8:15 – 9:15 am at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo RC Church, Washington Twp. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Matt’s memory may be made to St. Charles Borromeo RC Church, 176 Stagecoach Rd., Sicklerville, NJ 08081.

Our Hearts and Prayers are with all of Matts family and friends. Matt was an incredible person who brought so much love and happiness to everyone who were lucky enough to have him in their lives. Thank you for all of the fun memories Matt! You will be greatly missed by all!!

Dan, John and Family - The world is missing a wonderful person today. Our hearts are broken over the loss of a great person. He was very special to all of us and will be truly missed. I have known Matt since I was 15 years old. I was introduced to him by my now husband Jeff. Matt was one of our best friends. I could talk to him about anything. There are too many good times to mention. Every moment I had with Matt and our group of extraordinary friends is priceless. We all lived life to the fullest together. A piece of my heart went to heaven with Matt. I will think of him everyday. The memories he gave me are near and dear to my heart. We have laughed and cried together, been through lifes ups and downs, and grew up not even realizing how fast the years went by. Thank you for being you Matt. I have tears for you on earth, but I know you have no more tears in heaven.

Danny, John and family- Even though we all grew up together, I only got to know Matt well after he was diagnosed, since he was treated where I work. After everything he was going through, he still remained upbeat when I saw or talked to him. Matt would tell me numerous times how great his brothers were and how much he appreciated them for taking care of him so well! My sincerest condolences for your loss. He was a really special person and will be missed by my parents, brother Paul and me.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I grew up with Matt and have lots of childhood memories that I will always treasure. I will surely miss him.

Dear Danny, John & Family, Words can never express the sadness we feel for the loss of Matt. He has been a part of our lives for the past 31 years. Dear John and Danny, I spoke with Matt about 4 months ago. The first time since high school because I moved out of the area to join the military and we went our seperate ways. He sounded upbeat and positive then and we talked about getting together to catch up. I am so sorry to hear and for your loss . He was my best friend in high school and we shared alot together from front street racing to introducing me to my date for the senior prom. He will be missed. Warm regards, Ken

The stories he would tell, you knew they could only happen to him and they were all true. Matt had a great sense of humor and a kind soul. My husband Tom and I will miss Matt deeply. I met Matt through my brother, Jeff Sori, when I was about 15. Although we saw each other infrequently over the years we always talked easily like no time had passed. I always thought Matt was a gentle soul and a great listener. I know he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dear Mitchell Family: I'm so sorry for your loss and will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I met Matt through his friend Paul and my brother Steve. I didn't know him well but found him to be a very funny and nice person. He went through a lot in the past months. He is at peace now and out of pain. God Bless all of you.
