Mary Ann Daly (nee Keebler) On September 20, 2023, of Ocean City. Age 61. Beloved wife of Michael. Devoted mother of Aodhan. Loving daughter of Edward F. and Judith A. (nee McGinley) Keebler. Dear sister of Judith L. Richardson (John), Edward P. Keebler (Pauline) and James Keebler (Jeanann). Beloved aunt to Lauren, Eddie, Madison, Jameson, Nolan, Johnny, Grady, and Avery.
Mary Ann was the joyous, first-born grandchild of her generation. As the oldest sister and cousin, Mary welcomed the responsibility that came along with setting a good example. Everyone looked up to Mary, respecting her originality and absolute selflessness. Mary always put family first and the needs of others ahead of her own. She maintained a great sense of humor and had a thick skin, which was very important growing up as a Keebler.
A longtime Ocean City resident, Mary enjoyed summer beach days, walking the boards, pottery, and cheering on her favorite team…the Phillies. She loved good rock music and had excellent taste in a variety of artists. Driven by her strong sense of faith, Mary was a member of St. Augustine’s where she taught religious education to the children of the parish. Mary was a champion for the needy and underprivileged as evidenced by her career at Covenant House of Atlantic City. She was a strong advocate for homeless teens which included fundraising efforts sleeping on the streets of Atlantic City.
Mary was the perfect partner for Mike. She loved him unconditionally. Mary was a wonderful mother to her dear Aodhan. As her only child, Mary gracefully gave even more of herself to fulfill his needs. She will always love them both with all her heart. She will be dearly missed by so many.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Tuesday, October 3rd 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at St. Damien Parish/St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, 1310 Ocean City Ave., Ocean City, NJ 08226. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Ann’s memory may be made to Covenant House, Atlantic City.
