Mark Tallant, on October 21, 2019, of Washington Twp. Age 58. Beloved husband of Erin (nee Fitzgibbon). Devoted father of Kristin Fasolino (Christopher), and Ryan (Kimi). Loving grandfather of Amelia. Dear brother of Karen Fraietta, Thomas (Rose), Joanne Berry, Rita Burrow (Steve), Michael, and the late Ted.
Mark was born and raised in Oak Valley, Deptford NJ and was the was the youngest of 7 kids. He began working in construction as a teenager. At 19, he started his own company, Mark Tallant Builders, which he ran successfully for 40 years. Mark met his wife Erin at a softball game/keg party when they were 18. They were married for 36 years and raised two wonderful children, Kristin and Ryan. The light of his life was his granddaughter Amelia. She and her Pops had a special relationship and she loved taking care of him with her doctor kit.
Mark was a mild mannered guy with a heart of gold. He was a kind and generous man who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed golfing, spending time with friends, traveling, reading, playing hockey, watching Philly sports, and smoking cigars at his cigar club but nothing made him happier than being with his family. Mark impacted many people’s lives and will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday 8:30 – 11:30 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. His life will be celebrated at 11:30 am sharing thoughts, memories, prayers and love offered by family and friends.
