Was sorry to hear of Mark's passing. My prayers are with the Pilla family. I really loved Mark. He was a great person and a great father. Was always helping out on the ball field; always had a smile on his face. He was always the one to keep contact with me over the years, even to just say hello and talk about the family or racing. He will be missed by all that he touched.

I just saw this obituary for Mark. I have SO many wonderful Memories of his Mom who we referred to as Crazy Cousin Mary & his Dad, Ed. Special Memories of the Mummers Parade, where my Dad, Tom, & my Mom, Maria, wanted to watch the parade near the Pilla Home where we would always go back & eat after Parade. Mary & Ed were SO Proud of their 3 Sons! Sending Love & Hugs. Joanie & Angelo

We are sad to hear about Mark passing away. When we first moved into the neighborhood, Mark was there to help us in so many ways from a new air condition to meeting all the great neighbors along the street. We would see Mark as we walked passed or stopped with the kids to trick or treat and he would smile and chat. We will miss him. Prayers for his family.

Ann and family, my heart is aching for your loss, only comfort, is that he is in eternal peace and joy. I know that because he always spread joy and laughs wherever he went. He loved people, loved his neighbors, loved his work, loved life, and above all he loved his family. This is what I know from people who knew him. This is what I know from when we had a little side friends' talk. This is how I know he has a big heart of gold. Mark; I miss you buddy, I miss you dearly .. Rest In Peace my friend. , and my deepest condolences to Ann and Family.

He was such a hyperactive but sweet child. He never shut up. Guess what? He never stopped talking as an adult either. Heaven just got much noisier. My heart aches for you Ann and your family. He will be remembered always.
