John - My deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family. While I did not know your beautiful and wonderful daughter, I know she was raised by a wonderful father. Gavarone family, It is with great sympathy and deepest condolences that I'm writing this. I remember Marissa fondly. Growing up in Whitman square allowed us to walk and ride bikes freely around the neighborhood. She was a sweet girl and there were many happy memories of our childhood beginning at Whitman school and moving through the years into our young adulthood. Marissa was absolutely beautiful, bright, full of life, passionate about family and fashion and always fun to be around. I hope you find peace in her passing and know that comforting days are ahead with fond memories of her life. With love, Mary Szczur
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

John, Maria, Mikey and Johny, My heart aches for all of you on Marisa's passing. I'll always remember running around the backyard as little kids and young teens. I have memories I get to take with me forever of pool parties and summer nights that consisted of good food, company and laughter. It was a great way to grow up around all of you. The Gavorones were and always will be second family for me and the rest of the Pagano's. I'll always remember Marisa as bright, beautiful and so much fun to be around. As a kid I remember always following her around at family parties. She was my buddy since most of our family were guys. When I think of her I see her smile, her bright eyes and her beautiful soul. I think of all of you often and I will be by to visit. I love you all so very much and I send my deepest sympathy. Love always, Bianca Rose Pagano

To The Gavarone Family, I'm so so deeply saddened to hear about Marisa's passing. I know we lost touch many years ago, but the memories I have of her and your family are endless. So many great times as such close friends. I'm so sorry all the years you had to go through that pain with her. It's every parents worst nightmare. As many are slowly hearing this shocking news, know that all her peers have such wonderful memories of her and are all very deeply sad for her and your family. God bless you and all her loved ones during this time and I'll always remember the Marisa I met in third grade and for many years after. Love to all. Love, Denise (Bernard)
