Marion was an amazing woman! I loved her from day one! She loved her family, life and always had her door open for everyone! She was always proud of her children. Tommy and Heather showed her how much they loved her, right by her side along with their spouses and children till the end. Marion knew she was loved and well taken care of. I love you all

Heather and Tom, We are so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. We both had your mom as a teacher when she was student teaching at Alice Costello School. She also taught our daughter, Regina and your mom would invite us down to your house in Washington Twp. in the summer and help Regina with her math and reading. We know she loved teaching and she helped many students over the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. She will certainly be missed. May she rest in peace.
Barry and Ginny LuBrant left a message on March 16, 2022:
We are so sorry to hear the news of Marion's passing. Before we moved to Arizona, Marion was our friend and neighbor in Whitman Square. Prior to that, we grew up with Marion and Tom in Runnemede.... attending the same grammar school and high school. May she rest in peace. We send our sincerest sympathy to her family.

What a joy it has been to share so many great times with Marion over the last fifteen plus years. Triton classmates who went their separate ways after high school only to come together in later years to share a special bond. What an extraordinary person, she was….determined to achieve whatever she set her mind to, generous beyond measure to all, intrepid Ocean City bike rider. She was the best person to share lobsters at Gregory’s with in Somers Point or oysters in Cape May or Thai food in Florida, extra spicy! My late husband, Allen, was one of her biggest fans. He said she was a “very classy lady”, and he was an excellent judge of character. I will treasure the memories of all our good times and now when I walk alone on a beach in New Jersey or Florida as we did many times together, if I find a piece of sea glass I will know that it is sent by Marion, my dear friend.

Tom and Heather, Very sorry for your loss of your mother. Just this past weekend I was talking about your mom and dad and you. I met someone at the hard rock casino and he was from Washington township and was talking about football and your dad. It was very nice conversation. Our prayers are with you both.

I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. Marion was the best! She had such a strong will, kind heart, and a hilarious way of telling it like it is. Not a better sports/event Grammy out there, she loved proudly watching her grandkids doing their things. I will greatly miss her. I am certain that her spirit and character will live on in her family that loved her so very much. May your happy memories bring you comfort. Hugs and prayers! XOXO

Tommy, I know I've said this before, but I have so many great memories of growing up with you and spending time with you down at your house. Swimming in your pool, eating over, playing games, watching movies and dancing in your basement, your mom (& your dad) are interwoven in those memories. May your mom rest easy. I'll keep her, you and the rest of your family in my prayers.
Marilyn Obrien left a message on March 15, 2022:
Marion was my dear friend for over 60 years. In all that time, we talked, analyzed, laughed and counseled each other. I cannot begin to know how much I will miss her and the time we spent together. I really believed if anyone could beat cancer, it would be her. Her strength and determination would prevail. Sadly, that was not to be. Spending time with her over these past few months will be time that I will always treasure. Her wonderful spirit will live on in her beloved children and grandchildren. Rest peacefully my dearest friend. Always and ever. Marilyn?
