Mom, I can't bring myself to say Mrs. Morris or Marie- was a guardian angel to me. Her loving words, generous heart, lively spirit, endless patience and melodious laughter made me adopt her as my mom forever. Her wisdom and advice was always given with affection and wit. As beautiful and wise as she was, she never took herself seriously. Her devotion to her students, faith and family were steady and constant. Her cooking, gardening - virtually everything that she did was filled with love. The Blessed Mother made sure to give her all the special graces needed to be the best daughter, sister, wife and mother. She always made a person feel welcomed. I will miss her beautiful sparkling blue eyes, her crowning glory of hair and the classy sophisticated lady with the lovely smile. If I could come close to being the lovely inside and out lady that she forever will be, I indeed will have lived my best life.

We always looked forward to seeing you and Marie at the 12:00 pm. mass every Sunday before the pandemic changed our lives. We know you are hurting, but you did everything but breathe for her and your love for her was evident always. We will keep you all in our prayers. Lorraine Iannece & Ginni Calabrese
