Marie Sloss nee Murray, on February 6, 2012, of Washington Township. Age 78. Devoted mother of Annamarie Brody David, Robert, Jr. Carol, John Josette and Patricia Sloss. Loving grandmother of Robert, III, Kelly, Kevin, Katie, Joseph John, Joseph Robert, Jacob and Isabella. Proud great-grandmother of 5. Dear aunt of Carol and Steve Owens.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo RC Church, 176 Stagecoach Road, Washington Twp. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.

Dear Sloss Family, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I have such fond memories, Rob, of seeing your mom around the neighborhood and then after high school riding the bus into Philadelphia for work and speaking with her during the bus rides. She always thought of others and spoke so fondly of all her children. I will keep her and your family in my prayers. We lost my mother suddenly in December of last year so I know how your heart aches. I now know my mother has another friend in Heaven. Love, Debbie Collins Allshouse

My heart is aching. I will be praying for your family. I will always cherish the one winter we got to spend with Marie as our next door neighbor. We kept hoping and praying that she would be able to come back for a winter. Thankful for getting to see her again in November. What a joy to be surprised by her short visit. I loved driving up and see her standing in her driveway! I did not know Marie for a long time, but had an instant connection with her. She was a very special lady and we will miss her. So sorry to hear about Marie's passing. She really was a wondeful woman and raised all you kids right. Being older now I'm sure we can all see that. We did have our mischief but were never bad kids.
