Mariann Giovannitti (nee Semina) on January 2, 2022 of Washington Twp. Age 78. She is survived by her husband Fred, her sons Christopher (Sharon) and Stephen (Karrie) Lambert, her daughter Karen (James) O’Leary, and her grandchildren Christopher II, Alexander, Nicole Lambert and Kristina, Marissa O’Leary. She was preceded in death by her sons Michael and Richard Lambert and her sister, Ann Petrillo.
Mariann was a resident of Washington Township for 42 years. She served on the Holy Family church council and as a precinct voter volunteer. She was a proud member of the Red Hats Club and enjoyed taking mall walks. You could always find her at the Jersey shore eating Manco’s pizza and making friends while walking on the boardwalk. She was a huge Yankees fan which began from when she was a child watching the games with her father. Mariann was completely devoted to her family whom she loved to cook meatballs and gravy for while sharing a hysterical memory. Her 34 year love story with her husband Fred brought her much happiness and fulfillment, from traveling to Hawaii and Italy to dancing at family reunions to laughing with cherished friends and neighbors. Her contagious laugh, generous spirit and enormous love will be greatly missed.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday 6:00-8:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. and Saturday 9:30-10:15 AM at the Church of The Holy Family 226 Hurffville, Rd, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM. Interment, Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, Williamstown.
