Johnson family left a message on June 30, 2016:
Dear Schaefer family: I wish to convey my sincerest condolences to your entire family. Losing a loved one in death is one is one of the hardest things that anyone will ever have to deal with. There is a great hope held out to us for the future because God promises to bring those we lost back to life by means of a resurrection to a paradise earth, where sickness and death will be no more. I hope this brief message will bring you a measure of comfort in this difficult time.

Stephanie Matthews left a message on June 30, 2016:
Everyone from Washington Township goes "down the shore" after senior prom. The day after prom, Jenn, our dates, friends, and I went to Ocean City and spent the day at Nana and Poppop's condo. It rained all day so most beach and boardwalk activities were not an option. Instead, we all played games with Nana and Poppop, including an old favorite, "Chicken Coup" dominoes. It was a fabulous, even if slightly unconventional, way to spend our prom weekend. I wouldn't have wanted to spend that weekend, or any of our other shore weekends, any other way! Love, Stephanie
