Margaret “Peggy” Daly (nee Reddy), of Egg Harbor Township, formerly of Wayne, PA, on September 12, 2016, after a long illness. Age 75. Born in Philadelphia on September 19, 1940, to the late Patrick and Nellie Reddy, Peggy graduated from West Catholic High School in 1958 and spent 13 years as a Sister of Mercy. After earning a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy College and a Master’s in Nursing from New York University, her ministry of mercy continued as she served as head nurse of Jefferson Hospital’s Rehabilitation Unit. Peggy loved the beach and enjoyed traveling, having been to 5 continents. Peggy was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael Daly, her brothers Jack and Daniel Reddy, and sister-in-law Lorraine Reddy. She is survived by her companion of 10 years, Frank Clawell. Peggy was much loved and will be greatly missed by her stepdaughter Jennifer Daly (Greg) Oaster, grandchildren Kimberly and Michael Oaster, brothers Edward and Peter (Lynn) Reddy, sisters Pat (Don) Krott and Mary (Jack) Piselle, sisters-in-law Faith and Juli Reddy and many devoted nieces, nephews and cousins. Over the years, Peggy was a dear friend to many, but especially Maureen and Joe Heron, Margaret and Dick Mahoney, Sister Maryanne Werner and Carol Hutelmeyer, who provided great support during her illness.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Visitation Saturday, September 24, 2016, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at St. Michael’s RC Church of St. Clare’s Parish, 313 Memorial Avenue, Gibbstown. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM. Interment private.
