She was 89 years young. She was predeceased by her loving mother Margaret Murphy, her Father, Howard Dillon, Her beloved son, William McMullen, her sister Jeanette Blanda and her beloved husband Joseph Black. She was the loving mother of Tricia McMullen (Chris), Donna McMullen (Keith), Kathy Mauger (Brad), Michael McMullen (Susie) and predeceased by her son William McMullen (Sue). Loving grandmother of Jennifer Goetz (David), Coleen Bowers, Kristin Bowers-Tompkins (Luke), Brian Bowers (Hillary), Christopher Kenney, Stephen Kenney, Lauren Caban (Daniel), Matthew Hedrick, Kelly Docimo (Joseph), Mathew Mauger (Jennifer), Michael McMullen, Jr., Kara Dry (Jorden), Emily Twigg, Corinne Twigg, Michael McMullen (Shannon), Katie McMullen, Daniel McMullen (Anita). Great grandmother to 16 and great great grandmother to 1 (soon to be 2). Also great grandmother to her granddog Traeger.
She was a devout Catholic with a deep faith. She volunteered at Our Lady of Grace Church in Somerdale and was an active member of their Altar and Rosary Society. She also volunteered at St. John Neuman Church in Sicklerville where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She loved to bake and cook, especially Christmas cookies with her great grandchildren. She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved family.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday 10:30am – 12:00 pm at the Church of The Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to Gabriella Docimo for future medical expenses c/o Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Turnersville, NJ 08012.
