So sorry to hear this terrible news. I was a friend of Marc's and his mother and sister when he lived in queens. Our contact lasted a few years before each of us went our separate ways. My memories are of a young, funny man who showed great affection for his family and friends. I still think of him as an important part of my life and know he felt the same Carol

So I have known Marc going on 40 years..... I originally met Marc when I was working at Nick Sama's The jewelry store at 15th and Snyder Ave. It was either a Wednesday or Friday night we were open late and he was walking the strip from the Naval base (Marc was in the Naval reserve he was stationed on the SS Saratoga). He stopped in front of the jewelry store and struck up a conversation with Nick Sama Junior. Marc was an interesting guy and could easily talk to anyone, he also recognize a good heart and quality in a person and attached himself to that person rather quickly. After a few days it felt like you've known him for years. Marc also had a big heart and would do anything for you. He was an honest man, said what he felt and wore his feelings for everyone to see. He taught me and a few of my friends how to ride a motorcycle in the JFK parking lot on a Yamaha 350. I'll never forget that motorcycle, he drove it all the way from his uncle's house in Florida. Marc did a lot with his life, he was a musician. He loved to play his guitar and sing a tune,he loved his pets and he was a hell of a motorcycle rider. My dad would repaired his leathers and even put his name across the back of his leather jacket. Always dressed to the nines, he rode hard but dressed for the part. He sold bikes, understood them and respected them. He taught people how to ride the right way. I was lucky to share lots experiences with Marc, he met my girlfriend who became my wife. He was a groomsman and sang at my wedding, along as in my brother's and a couple of other good friends. He longed for good company and companionship, once you became his friend he was a friend for life; whether you wanted it or not. He also participated in a lot of my family functions, holiday dinners, birthdays, and many others. He introduced me to my first property on 10th St. He had a friend living there and he told me that the landlord was selling the building, Marc was my first tenant. I got a chance to drive up to New York a few times and meet his family and extended family, his sister Linda and his mom Lucy; God rest their souls. I also attended his wedding to Stella that was on a ship, what an appropriate place for Marc to have his wedding On the spirit of 76 on the Delaware river. Marc always worked one job or another from living in Hawaii, modeling as a young boy to driving limousines for different companies, to having his own car and shuttling people around where He met a lot of interesting people to add to his great stories. Marc learn the jewelry business he became a polisher and a very good one at that. He worked for us and went on to work for other companies like Caldwell's, and Lagos. As well as a jewelry chain store in strip malls. Marc has been in and out of our lives with good and bad experiences as life has to offer. I'm happy that Marc came back into my life and He was able to see how my family has grown, seeing my kids now all grown up and my oldest married and sharing all the events that took place in my life while we were apart. Marc lived his life the way he knew best. Riding his bike, playing his guitar, spending time with his pets, enjoying a good glass of wine and always being around people he cared about. Marc you will be missed!!!! I'm proud to have called him a friend. Sal
