Luciana Cecilia Maugeri

On December 2, 2024 of Washington Twp. Age 8. Beloved daughter of Justin and Kelsey (nee Doud). Dear sister of Sonny Maugeri. Cherished granddaughter of Sal and Deb Maugeri and Karen Keebler (the late Thomas Doud). Luciana was loved by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Family and friends are welcome to attend her visitation Friday 9:30 – 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Hope/St. Agnes Church, 701 Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM. Interment or Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery, Chews Landing.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Luciana’s memory may be made to The Our Lady of Hope Parish for a memorial in the Grotto in Luciana’s name.

Luciana-radiant light, bearer of light, brightness, symbolizing beauty and divine guidance. I may have never known you, but God knew you before the womb! God allowed your parents to borrow you and to make an immense impact on their life. I know you have and soon they will meet you again!

I didn’t know Luciana personally, but when I was asked to pray for her, it became more than just a private prayer—it became a call for many here in Kentucky to intercede for her and her family. I felt an extraordinary connection, a deep need to stand in prayer for her. Together, we prayed fervently for a miracle, and we witnessed signs of improvement. Yet, we also entrusted her to God’s perfect will. Now, she dances in the eternal light of God’s presence, her name itself a testimony of His glory. To her family, I offer my deepest condolences and continued prayers. Take heart in knowing that one day you will see her again, where she is now whole and filled with joy.

Words cannot convey how heartbroken we are for the loss of Luciana. Our daughters fondly remember going to Chi Chi’s birthday parties when they were smaller and singing karaoke and swimming. Viviana would always say, “Baby Chi Chi is so cute!” and hug and kiss her whenever she saw her. Justin, Kelsey, and the entire family- you are all such wonderful and loving people and we are so, so sorry. We all remember Luciana as a sweet, funny, and beautiful little girl who’s light shined so bright, it could light up the whole world. Luciana’s light will always continue to shine bright through the memories that she shared with everyone, through her beautiful family, and through her amazing parents.
