Louise P. Greco
(nee Mignogno) On March 28, 2023 of Washington Twp. Age 85. Beloved wife of Anthony. Devoted mother Fran Falconiero (Nick), Anthony (Jenny), Mark, Joe (Michelle), and Rosemary Greco. Loving grandmother of Nicholas (Jamie), Robert, Anthony, Joey, Sarah, Albert, Angelina, and Vincent. Loving daughter of the late Frank and Rose Mignogno. Dear sister of Marie Hollingsworth (the late Ron) and Ann Katz (Steve). Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Louise passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, after a long battle with dementia. She was adored by her devoted husband, Tony, of 58 years. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Louise and Tony moved to Washington Township, NJ where they raised their five children.
Louise was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was happiest spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Louise loved painting, baking, reading, family vacations, gatherings with her sisters, and breakfasts with her friends. Louise was also a member of the Whitman Square Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She embraced her South Philadelphia roots and was an annual fixture at the Mummers’ Day Parade. Louise had a passion for dancing. She could always be found on the dance floor with her favorite dance partner, Tony. Louise took great pleasure in hosting events, family parties, Sunday dinners and most of all her traditional Christmas Eve celebration, passed down by her parents, where she opened her heart and her doors to her family and friends.
Our Mother’s legacy will never be forgotten, and she will live in our hearts forever.
