Louis R. Venuti

On February 5, 2022 of Washington Twp. Age 86. Beloved husband of the late Rita (nee Cipparone). Devoted father of Dr. Robert L. Venuti (Kathleen), Valerie Klose (John), and Stefani Venuti (Jason Gregory). Loving grandfather of Erica, Haley, Morgan, Matthew, Brittany, Paige, and Vincent. Cherished brother-in-law of Barbara Cipparone.

Lou was born in 1935, the only son of Anna Carbone and Robert Louis Venuti. He spent his early childhood in South Philly and at the age of 9, attended Gerard College.

He graduated in 1953 and took a job at Loria Brothers. At the company Christmas party, he met the love of his life, Rita Cipparone, and they were married in 1958.

They moved to South Jersey and set their roots down in Whitman Square where they raised their three beautiful children and spent 54 years together building forever friendships until his bride passed in 2012.

Since 2012, Lou has spent the remainder of his years enjoying his sports teams, bowling, going to the casinos and being the patriarch of his family to which he always offered endless stories, great memories, tales of years past and his love and devotion.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday 9:15 – 11:15 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM at St. Charles Borromeo RC Church, 176 Stagecoach Rd., Washington Twp. Entombment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.
