Louis F. DiDomenico
On May 29, 2011, of Mullica Hill. Age 56. Beloved life partner of Joel Fogelsanger. Devoted son of the late Benjamin and Josephine nee DelGaudio DiDomenico. Dear brother of Bernadette A. Varelli Chris and Benjamin J. DiDomenico Sherri. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Lou’s journey in life can best be described as being one of someone who shared his gifts of love and laughter with wonderful people he knew as his family and friends.
Lou, along with Joel, his life partner of nearly 24 years, loved to travel. They saw the beautiful beaches of Hawaii, Cancun and Bermuda, the grandeur of the Grand Canyon and Mount Rushmore and the exciting lights of Las Vegas, to mention but a few of the places to which they journeyed.
In his professional life, before working as a Custodian for the Washington Township Public Schools, Lou enjoyed many years of employment as a Food Service Manager.
Yes, Lou was a first class Chef and Baker who would lovingly prepare many “too much to eat” dishes and desserts for family and friends.
Most of all, Lou will be remembered for having a heart larger than could be measured. Lou was always someone you could count on for advice and support. He touched those with his contagious smile and his art of telling a story.
The sweetness of this man is difficult to express in mere words. Indeed, Lou’s all too short walk among us is best reflected within the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
Lou will be sadly and eternally missed by his life partner, his family and his friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 9:30 – 11:00 am at The Church of The Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:15 am. Interment private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements under the care of the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, Washington Twp.
