Louis E. Gilbert On March 20, 2022 of Erial. Age 81. Beloved husband of Dolores (nee Lenkowski). My uncles Lou was the strong quiet guy with a constant huge smile. My many many childhood memories include him scaring me when he was 40 feet in a tree, cutting it down. I was only 10 years old and never saw a person in a tree. My dad waking me up making salami sandwiches to go pick up uncle Lou to go fishing. We ate blue fish all summer! The very best was his George Jefferson dance moves at all out weddings. No one, absolutely no one could mimic him. With his George moves and my moms Jitter Bug moves made for some serious fun wedding receptions.
My young uncle Lou was always there for my dad when we moved to West Deptford helping us get our yard in order with the fence, and patio installs.
My mature uncle Lou was there for me when my dad was hospitalized for months and came over without asking, and helped me put up the Christmas tree and outside lights. His kindness to our family has left a lasting mark on my heart.
Uncle Lou, you helped create a beautiful legacy with you very loving family, be proud and rest peacefully.

All my heart felt Sympathy and Prayers going out to the entire Gilbert family. Lou was a dear friend, and co -worker. We fished together, Golfed, Worked, went to Buffet concerts, and traveled to O.C. Maryland for golf outings. Lou had a few alias names, such as L.G. and Mo. Many great memories as friends. You will be sorely missed my friend. May God Bless , Forever In Eternal Peace. May all the families Fond and Precious Memories bring you Peace and Comfort at this time in your lives.
